Creeping cursor

In the last week, when not holding the mouse, the cursor moves slowly towards the top of the monitor, and stops there...not always, just occassionaly.
 
Not troublesome...just strange...any thoughts?
 
I have McAfee, Zone Alarm, Window Washer and AdAware - updated regularly.

    Yes - Logitech USB wheelmouse - optical - about 6 years old.

    Do you have an optic mouse, if so is it old?

    That happens to Optic mice when they get old. Try another mouse and see if it still happens.

    I had a same problem but I fixed mine by reinstalling the Intel chipset driver. If the problem returns, I will replace my mouse too.
