Delete partition
I purchased a laptop with Vista on it. I didn't like Vista, so I decided to have my laptop dualboot XP. I created a second partition on my laptop. Well, my laptop would not allow me to install XP (went through troubleshooting with that to no avail). I now want to delete the partition I created for XP but the computer won't let me. If I do Start>Computer>Manage>Disk Management and click delete partition, I get the error "Windows cannot delete the active system partition on this disk ". Is there any other way I can do this? I've backed up my entire system, so if I have to delete everything that's fine. My vista drive is full and I need the 30G space that I partitioned for XP. Please help.
