I'am having problems updating the lastest flash player ,I can play a new game in pogo because it uses the latest flash player,I tryed to download it ,but it failed ?
Here are the instructions to determine. I am assuming it's 32 bit, but just to be safe we'll double check. Like it says if under processor it says X86 family then it's 32 bit.
Click Start, and then click Run.
Type winmsd.exe, and then click OK.
When System Summary is selected in the navigation pane, locate Processor under Item in the details pane. Note the value.
If the value that corresponds to Processor starts with x86, the computer is running a 32-bit version of the Windows operating system.
If the value that corresponds to Processor starts with ia64 or AMD64, the computer is running a 64-bit version of the Windows operating system.
when I open the game I get the green screen & pogo logo, the game trys to load but never does,i can tell because the green bars on the bottom of the screen start to fill up almost half way then it just stop. when i tryed to download the flash player it just says it fail !
The latest is 10,0,22,87...if you have that, then you have the latest.
If not: Click here GET ADOBE to download 10...do this with Internet Explorer. When explorer is open click on HELP then ABOUT IE then check to make sure you have IE6 or higher...I am pretty sure you do but just to be safe.
After you click get adobe and click install does it download and install? IF not, what type of error does it give you? Also, when you try to play the game on POGO what does it say? Does it give an error?
I am at a loss as of now, but here are some troubleshooting instructions from adobe's official site. The first is easy as it tells you to completely uninstall previosu versions. It gives easy instructions so that one might work.
If none of those work, here is the last ditch effort. i can tell you that I did this on one of my laptops and it worked perfectly fine. Click here It explains how to down SubInACL.exe from windows official site. you then install it. You then download the adobe reset file and extract the files into the proper folder. It's not as difficult as it sounds. You simply download the file, and when it is open you click EXTRACT ALL FILES....you then browse to C:\WindowsResourceKits\Tools folder and then click ok. IT will extract the adobe reset files into the same folder as your SUBINACL.exe file.
You then double click the reset command. It will run a little bit and when over you just go to adobe flash player and retry installing version 10 again.
I will state that i have done this. It worked for me, as I received a fail error. Just follow the steps carefully and you should be fine. If you are not comfortable doing it, if you have a friend that is a little more familiar with computers you can see if they'll do it. IF this does not help, then I have nothing else as it's the last thing i can think of.
This is what pogo support told me to do, 1) download flash 9 file,2) open this file(micro soft won't let me?) 3)drag flash file to fold(have no idea how to do that?) 4)drag flash 10 file to your desk top . I don't know how to do this ,I did down load flash file 9 but have no idea where it is .
