Google desktop compatibility with Vista 64 bit

Hi guys

I m a happy owner of E 6400 delivered with Vista 64 bit OS

I just realised the google desktop does not support 64 bit vista. I installed GD with /force flag but its not indexing.

I can not do without GDP which is indexing 1000s of emails.

I would like to keep the factory config because I have lots of options like GPRS/3G card webcam which WORKS FINE with Dells software...

What is the best to do ? Install Vista 32 bits or downgrade to XP ?

Any experience advice will be welcome

Thank youC

    Get rid of Google desktop.

See if you can get the indexing through Google's web-mail till they come up with x64 compatible software.

They will soon because x64 is coming to the mainstream quickly.

A Google Toolbar appeared in the bottom taskbar of my Vista 64bit.

A screen appears that says 'This program cannot disply the webpage'. I cannot get rid of this page or the small google toolbar box.

    I uninstalled Google Desktop.

    Any help will be appreciated.
