Office Configuration Annoyance

I am running Windows XP Pro and have Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 installed. The following happens randomly about 50% of the time when I boot up the computer and login as an administrator or if I execute the Microsoft AntiSpyware (Beta 1) program I get the following messages:

Windows Installer
-----------------
Preparing to install...

Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003
------------------------------------------
Please wait while Windows configures
Micosoft Office Professional Edition 2003

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office several times.
I have applied "Windows Installer Clean Up" to Office several times.
I have run the "Detect and Repair" option in Office several times.

Nothing seems to work. It is not a drastic problem, but it is an annoyance to wait 1-2 minutes for the configuration to take place.

Any ideas anybody?

You could go into msconfig and uncheck any reference to word or office that might be starting up. I imagine that there is a conflict there somewhere. Usually there is one startup item that is supposed to check for office updates or something.
