Popup folder after startup

Hi.

I just reinstalled everything due to virus and keylogger attacks!

Now I have all WinXP updates, AV, software firewall (Zone alarm 5) and other software to block out and remove invasive softwares!

Everything worked out fine until...

On a restart, a window appears after start up...

"Common" window with folder, BIN. It's empty!

It's part of the startup that's messed up but I do NOT know how to correct!

It's very annoying!!

One of the softwares that I reinstalled probably messed up the startup sequence but previously it did NOT!

Anyone know how to fix?????

Thanks.

hi, have you tried doing a msconfig function by Start>Run>msconfig>ok>Startup Tab>uncheck all unwanted items. u can go to this link for your guide: http://netsquirrel.com/msconfig/ and http://www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php goodluck!

    Hi.

    Thanks for responding.

    Yep, already tried "msconfig".

Only thing left is to painstakingly remove most of the software one by one until the culprit is found!!
