I have a Inspiron 6000 running Windows XP Pro SP2 (two years old).  I recently tried the AT&T Mobile Broadband Aircard but decided it was not what I needed.  Ever since I removed the program (using the Add/Remove in Windows) my laptop has not been right.   Start up is very slow, the Dell Media won't play DVD's any longer, and I get error messages about VBA when I open Excel.  Some programs won't open. I tried the Windows restore utility but I don't think it ran correctly as I didn't get the screens as described in the online manual.

 

What have I done to my laptop???
