Problems Installing Updates and Other Software
I can download updates and software installation files from the internet and from CD, but when they begin to install, the install log freezes and nothing happens.
The last install I was able to do was my Norton Internet Security software. Could this have anything to do with my install problems?

Welcome to the Dell Community Forum (DCF).
Before loading any software or updates, disable any Norton software. Typically, right click the Norton icon by your clock, click Disable.
