screen blanks after 20 min, no matter what

Have a new all-in-one computer with Win 7

Went to Personalize/screen saver, set up a screen saver to start in 60 min

Went to power options and set turn off display after 2 hours and never enter standby

go away

10 min later, the screen goes dim, then blank, and I have to log back in to resume!

HOW do I override this?

    everseeker,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

Try the setting  to turn off display to never as well as Dim the display to never  to see if that will work for you.

Of note: I contacted a Geek Squad member, unofficially (as in-Did not pay)

He said that this was becoming a Known issue, more and more incidents of this were being reported. There was a "firmware patch" to correct the problem, and that I could find it on the internet easily

    Well, I have looked

and I AM finding others with the SAME problem (and even more with a different, but similar sounding problem, where their PC locks up after going into sleep mode, never to return)

    So,

    1. People are experiencing this

    2. It is not a MS issue (Hardware "Energy Star" is overzealous)

    3. Some have found a fix

May I have this fix, PLEASE?
