Something Wierd is happening with my bluetooth
I have been using my bluetooth on my dell Inspiron E1505 and it worked great. I was able to shoot files back and forth between my computer and phone. I could send pictures, ringtones, and video. All of the sudden it will not let me send video from my phone to my bluetooth. It keeps saying transfer rejected. I can however still receive transfers from my computer to my phone. I can send the videos and ringtones. This is fine but I am not sure what happened. I tried to reinstall. so basically I can send the files but my computer rejects incoming ones.I tried reinstalling them and that did not work. It even says connected when I send the file and then it gets rejected. I tried it with my wifes phone. I updated the driver as well.

Go to Start/Run type in fsquirt hit OK, this is a transfer wizard for blue tooth, never have used it, give it a try. Sorry XP only, Vista a no go.Go to Start/Help and Support, type bluetooth in the search box hit the blue magnifying glass.

Check the Windows firewall.go to control panel/windows firewall, select "allow a windows program through windows firewall" , now on the exceptions Tab check to see if anything that is related is Unticked, tick it if needed, hit OK895

That didn't work either. I even turned it completely off. Not sure the problem. Two days ago it was fine. Now all of the sudden I can send files from computer to phone but not from phone to computer. Thanks for trying though. I have a micro SD card so i have a workaround. Just not as easy or fun. lol895

Hi! my problem is I couln't transfer pic or file from my Nokia 6620 cellphone to my Dell laptop
(Lenovo T61) but I can transfer pics from the same llatop to my cellphone.
I've tried your suggestion but not working. tried paring the devices but it's no help too.
appreciate your help.
