spider solitaire

Hello,
 
Can anyone help me? I have recently not been able to play spider solitaire, when i click on icon on desk top nothing happens, no screen come's up, but little window on botton of screen show's up.
I have tried system restore to reset computer to another time when it was working, but computer wony restore. Also game can not be played from start up menu.

    Uninstalling/Reinstalling from Add/remove in Control panel, Window components, accessories, games will cure this. You might be asked for the xp cd.

    My spider solitaire is not listed in control panel how do i add it? I must inform you that i am not very

    Follow the directions I gave: Control Panel, Add/ Remove, Add Windows Components (on the left), Accessories, Games, Details, uncheck it to uninstall. Close Control Panel, reopen and retrace your steps to reinstall.

    I tried the control panel all went well till it asked me to find where freecell file is located. I don't know.
    Now i have np game's i can play.
    What is xp cd? and where do i find it? sorry for being so thick. HELP!
