uninstall MacAfee

I'm setting up my new E510 and can't uninstall MacAfee. Tried in add and remove programs several times, but I keep getting a window that says it's running a virus scan. I've disabled that and antispam and haven't even installed the rest of it. It came with the purchase, but I can't get it to budge. Any ideas? Thanks.

    You can try in safe mode or ADD + REMOVE PRO. I`ve heard good things about it.

    When starting Windows on a new machine, McAfee comes up to be configured, and there is no way to cancel the thing, only Next buttons. That's really blatant taking advantage of people. Bad Dell!!!! Yeesh. I had to use Task Manager to kill it and then uninstall it.
