updates
ok i keep getting the windows update icon in my sys tray, and one....I don't have service pak 1, and two whatever this update is i can't install. check out the 2 screen shots below and please provide me w/some advice if at all possible.

That update is for Windows .Net installer. Try to manually install that update from here: http://tinyurl.com/ag8cg678

Check the time frame Mr Dell on call Tech, 5-minute separation of posts, don`t you think maybe you were both probably typing at the same time. And FYI, Denny through the years has not made a habit of repeating people, you owe someone an apology.

Not much information, but the update is related to this. Installing .NET Framework, Version 2 (available here) should eliminate the problem.
