Yahoo! Email Bugs?

Hi,

A few days ago Yahoo! (in a hasty attempt to compete with Gmail?), "upgraded " their email service. Ever since, however, I have not been able to get the Move, Delete, and other buttons to function. Is anyone else having this problem? Can anyone offer some possible solutions?

Thanks,

Richard

    Richard:

I'm also having trouble with Yahoo email. I subscribe to Lockergnome newsletter, and as I click on a subject to read, then read it you have an option to click "Top" to bring it back to top of page. It logs me out. I log back in and it brings me to My Yahoo page instead. So I go to email again, read what I want, delete it. It takes a couple of times to delete. I log back off (voluntarily) and it brings me back to original email messages I had in the first place before it logged me out, so I delete them again. Whew!!!

Yes, you are not alone., but neither am I now. Crazy huh?

I found a web discussion of Mac users who can't get it to work with Safari, as well. Just spoke with a friend who called Yahoo! and was told to clear her cookies and cache, and if that didn't work (it didn't) to "use Netscape."

I found that it seems to work fine in Mozilla Firefox, but why Yahoo! would release this program before it was compatible with IE6 is a mystery.

    Hi Richard:

That is not exactly a great answer from Yahoo. Sounds more like they don't know how to fix it yet. I agree that of all browsers IE should work. It should work with all of them. I have Firefox also, will try it with that tomorrow.

    Thanks for the info.

it seems to be working ok, for me.. i did notice that sometimes, some of the buttons at the bottom of the screen would not work, while the same buttons at the top of the screen did work.. i only use internet explorer.. i like the new gui, and the webpages seem quicker, but i have to wait for a while for images in the email to load sometimes, before the buttons will function..

Yes, I noticed this morning that some features are working (sometimes) and some aren't. Maybe they're solving the problem one button a day.
