XPS 13 9360 keyboard

Hi there,

My XPS13 9360 is having issues with keys skipped (with USB C plugged seems it happens even more).

I'm on the last BIOS : v2.13, any clue on what to do ?

Was thinking about renewing my XPS but now I'm not so sure since I saw it affects almost all models.

(Read this entire thread but didn't find any solution: https://www.dell.com/community/XPS/XPS-13-9370-Keyboard-skips-button-presses/td-p/5835431/page/17 )

Regards,

Tom

Remove the base cover and check the condition of the battery.  If it has begun swelling, it can cause keyboard issues - and if it has, get it out of the system and disposed of safely -- and replace it.

I have a similar issue with my 9370. when i press a key either nothing happens, or a couple of seconds later multiple keystrokes appear. Affects all keys. Problem comes and goes and still happens when i try with usb keyboard. I thought updating the bios had fixed it, but no. I also tried all suggestions in the thread you linked to but the problem remains.Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Note, the keyboard functions correctly in the BIOS, so not a keyboard hardware issue.

I have this problem re-appear after two month of normal operation.  IDK why.
