Alienware Desktops, help choosing a model?

Hey! I don't know much about computers but am looking for a good one. Budget is approximately 3K.

I need it for school (uni work) but also to play games for me and my girlfriend (Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead, Sims 4, Tomb Raider).

Which model would you suggest?

Thanks!

I would recommend an Aurora R11.

    10th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 10700KF (8-Core, 16MB Cache, 3.8GHz to 5.1GHz w/Turbo Boost Max 3.0)
    Windows 10 Home, 64-bit, English
    NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3080 10GB GDDR6X
16GB Dual Channel HyperX™ FURY DDR4 XMP at 2933MHz; up to 64GB (additional memory sold separately)
    512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD (Boot) + 1TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s (Storage)
Dark Side of the Moon chassis with High-Performance CPU Liquid Cooling with and 1000W Power Supply

Cyberpunk 2077 requires at least an RX 590 8GB or GeForce GTX 1060 to meet minimum recommended requirements running on high graphics setting, with 1080p resolution. This hardware should achieve 60FPS. For your PC to completely meet the recommended requirements you will also need 16 GB system memory.

The most popular and relatively affordable Alienware models of 2020 is Aurora R11 or R10.

You need to decide to pick an Intel system (R11) vs Ryzen (R10). UserBenchmarks

R11 is the first Aurora to have liquid cooled GPU.

^ I agree with speedstep. Aurora R10 Ryzen would work too. Either way, the RTX 3080 should be an excellent card for your AAA titles.
