R7 with titan xp

For size you'd ideally want to keep it under around 4.9" x 10.7", roughly.  Longer and the gpu may hit the front fan, wider and the pc may not close. Do your own measurements once you've found a gpu you like.  They are in short supply now so prices are high.

Your options depend on your PSU.  If you have the 850w psu, then you can go up to 2080ti, and your primary limitations are size.  It just depends on the design.  Generally no triple fan models fit, pretty much all blower models fit, and double fans is a toss up.  

If you have the 460w psu, with an 8700k, you probably want to stay at or below a 2060 gpu, plus note the physical limitations.

@r72019 Thanks for this information.  I think I have the 850W PSU, but I'm not sure.  My Dell configuration shows 850W EPA Bronze PSU Liquid Coo led Chassis, under which is the part 1XCK3 "ASSY,CHAS,L6,850W,BRZ,ODD,R7."  Is that the PSU?  Is there any other way to tell?  It's been a long time and I honestly don't know what I got.

@22GREENThanks for the info and link!  That's a little beyond my price point right now, but it's good information on what to be looking for in general.  I'll have to look into the timing of the 3000 series to see if it makes sense to hold off or to go with something better than I have but within my price point for now.  Thanks!

Yes, that is the PSU, you have 850w.

A quick way to double check is the 460w is nonmodular and the 850w is modular (cables can be removed from the back of the psu).  

Also, the 850w has a second unused pcie power cable (for hooking up a second gpu) wrapped up in the metal swing out box.  If you remove the psu there is a sticker with the specs on it.

Rumors swirling around that 3090 will clock in at $2000.

Wait another year till the 3090ti drops.

Hello guys. I would like to upgrade my R7` video card. I have 1080 ti right now and would like to know if i can upgrade to 3080 ti or 3090? Will it fit into Aurora R7 case? My power supply is 850w.
