AW2725DF, gamma settings naming

Hello,

I recently read that the QD-Oleds have problems with correct 2.2 gamma settings and I found this post on Reddit.

Can anyone confirm if this is true and if it is would setting gamma to 2.0 be the right decision?

I dont think so. 2.0 is 2.0, 2.4 is 2.4 but 2.2 is srgb. There is 2.2 profile on reddit which you can download.

Gamma settings should be equal across the board for each selected color profile.

2.2 should always be 2.2, regardless of the color profile. I have never heard of a 2.2 sRGB.

@Vanadiel In general, sure, not on this monitor though, plenty of talk about it online, definitely does not act as intended on mine either.

Im now using the .icc profile that has been posted on Reddit to fix the gamma 2.2 issues.

Works fine
