AW3423DWF, Alienware - Extension - 2.0.4.0
Hello,
New owner of a AW3423DWF and I am curious about what Windows Update is trying to install named Alienware - Extension - 2.0.4.0. Surprised to see Windows Update showing something for a monitor and I would like to know a bit more information about what it is?

Ok! I think is the AWCC program. The one that windows does on the updates to control some features of the monitor. The issue is when it hijack your power plan to balance. So if you have a Dell monitor and a Dell machine I assume you will not have any issues. The main problem came when you have a Dell monitor but your pc is a Hi End none Dell. The nightmare start. Even if you make a custom power plan using power shell it goes back to balance.
