X51 R2, BIOS problem

Hi, I was updating my BIOS when the lights of the building went off, so now it shows the alienware logo and then it freezes with the green screen that usually comes before it asks the password. I've tried changing the bios settings to default and the safe boot is on. I have also tried with different settings, like changing the SATA, but so far no attempts have worked. Should I try clearing the CMOS? Any other ideas? Thanks!

Dell has BIOS recovery for SOME machines.  Check the link below to see if one of the recovery procedures will work on your system.  Otherwise in almost every case a corrupted BIOS means a new motherboard.  You can try the CMOS battery reset but don't hold your hopes that it will work.

Sadly the recovery system starts with the R3, and if the CMOS reset doesn't work I'll try booting with an USB. Thanks a lot though. Appreciate it.
