17 R5, AlienFX not detected
After updating to version 5.2.37.0 ,A00 of the command center all the lights , keyboard back light , touch pad light went off . the alien head was white color , I removed the charging cable and that went off too no all the lights are off. Tried every solution and nothing working reinstalled more than 30 times the command center and nothing works, I Even factory reset windows and nothing happens all the LED lights are off.

Same here! Apparently this company does poor coding and does not test a single thing before releasing it to the masses. They told me it was a hardware failure, then tells me its from a windows update and their engineers are swiftly working on the issues. I read from other forums this issue has been long standing with AW/Dell and they have not addressed it in over 5-6 months! I guess its time to find another MNFR that can stand behind their software as well as they try and stand behind their hardware.
