I recently bought a Alienware 17 R5 and did a clean installation from the OS recovery tool (F12).
After the clean installation, i tried to change the color of the LEDS through the AWCC. Everything worked well, except for the 'alien head' and the 'alienware' on the screen below.
When i tried to change the color into blue or purple, i noticed that i had a red/orange color instead. So it is not possible to change the alien head and the alienware text into a blue color. Al the other colors is not a problem.
Could this be a software issue? Or rather something else?
Hi @RobinP87 if the AlienFX Lights were fully functional before undertaking clean installation of Windows 10 Pro x64, the OS could have a fault. Try right click on C: drive > Properties > Tools tab and run Error check to see if there are any system errors on the OS drive. Try running the AWCC update file again and select repair followed by Restart. With all the reported problems with the AWCC update, you may decide to tolerate this minor irritation.
