Area-51m R1, fan issue, performance problems

Hello guys,

I'm looking for some help with my Alienware Area-51m R1 specs:

RTX 2080
Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz
32GB RAM
Purchased with (m.2)500gb SSD and 1TB HDD
now i have 2xSSD (m.2) x500gb and 250ssd.

I'm having this laptop for 1,5y and only at first 3 months i was very happy about this PC mayby bec. I was feeling big diference between my older laptop. After some time laptop start to drop FPS, performance wasn't that good like should be.

Like 4 months ago my disk HDD stop working.  Support asisst immediately let me know abut this (I haven't got to look for reason why i can't see my disk). I was unable to pick 2nd disk from dell support so I added 2 new disks (m.2 500gb and ssd 250) but my windows still seen those "programs" which i had on my HDD disk so I restarted the system and after that.. Performance drop like -50%. Fans stop working but not complitly. Fans are working normaly but air is not coming out from rear "vents" i can feel much more air from sides than before (after restart) and i can't feel ANY air coming from back even on FULL SPEED (PERFORMANCE BIOS).

I had some work to done so I leave it like this. Yeasterday i have restarted PC once more now even with SupportAssist. Now performance is same ( same **bleep** ) and for best.. Command Center can't see "audio option" at all.

If someone can help i would be very happy to try something out.

Okay, by contact with DELL SERVICE here. I have find out why performance drop and why air wasn't coming out.

SOLUTION: I just clean rear exhaust really good with air spray and now it's ok. (I was cleaning my PC often, anyway there was some dust.

Performance bad bec. bad ventilation prevent GPU and CPU bec. of Temperature.

Thanks for help @Ritika - Dell Service

    Hey There,

I see you're having issues with your AREA 51m R1 laptop right?

Would you like to have a remote support assist using TeamViewer so I can help fix all the issues that you're currently having.

Quick Tip: If your laptop has voltage / charging issues, try shutting it down, unplugging power from laptop, hold power button down for 30 seconds to do a full reset!
