No media present

I have a new M17 and after a month of use now whenever I turn it on I get the message “checking media presence.... no media present” and then boots normally.

when I got it the message was not there and I have no idea on how to fix it.

Please help!

    @Arcifel

    First make sure no other media is present."USB flash drive, CD etc."

    Some of the SSD's that came with your laptop has this type of problem but not the BC501.

    Still lets try to do the firmware update for your SSD.

    Hi @U2CAMEB4ME

    I got the same problem, it happened a while ago (I thought it was due to a firmware update) and today again, the model is Micron 2200S NVMe 1024GB is this one affected?. No other media connected, it just frooze and show a BSOD "storage exception" then auto rebooted. After 4-5 reboots it came back to life.

    Thanks for the help!
