x16 R1, undervolt where?
How come the m18 R1 has more OC options and can undervolted? But the x16 R1 which is the flagship, is so limited? Other brands with the same processor allow undervolting to reduce temps. Yet you guys don't. I'm constantly getting 100c for no reason. If I don't see an undervolt unlock before my 30 days, I will return the laptop and don't bother with Alienware again.

Hi @Vandiekins please 'book' your Alienware x16 R1 laptop Reject option now, so that Dell knows that there is an issue. Sign In to your online Dell account (top RH corner of web page) and create Service Request to Reject within first 30 days. Wait for Dell assigned courier with tracking to provide receipt confirmation of collection, or Dell to provide shipping container with paid tracking label, get receipt.

The X16 has a 13900HK, not a 13900HX. Only the X versions of this processor are unlocked for voltage tunings. Best thing you can do, is set the TCC offset to limit the max temps, or try repasting with liquid metal (BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT AS IT WILL VOID WARRANTY)
