I have to change the IP on a Celerra since it is moving to a new datacenter. Any info doing this?? Any issues? Any whitepapers?? Any help would be appriciated..
It really depends on what Celerra model you have and whether you are changing controlstation, data mover or Clariion IP adresses.
On a "classic" captive Celerra Integrated (see /nas/sbin/model) like the NS500/600/700/80 you can just change adresses using Celerra Manager.
On gateway or FC-enabled machines like NS20FC or NS40FC it could be more work since you might have to change the Clariion IP adresses as well and reflect that in internal config databases.
Of course you should also consider if the normal settings like DNS, NTP, default router as well as the CIFS/NFS services need to changed as well.
In any case - unless you know system very well - it would be wise to ask EMC customer service. They can assess your setup better than whats possible on a forum.
