get_attributes/set_attributes usage
Hello,
my first post to the forums
We have ns40g and centera running CFA v4.0.
On the celerra control station I can run the command:
"$ /nas/tools/dhsm/get_attributes server_2 /root_vdm_1/FS1/File.doc"
and I get a valid reply, however when I run the command:
"$ /nas/tools/dhsm/set_attributes server_2 /root_vdm_1/FS1/File.doc"
I get a file not found error.
What is the difference in specifying the file between get_attributes annd set_attributes?
Many thanks

I think these commands were more intended for EMC internal troubleshooting.
From what I understand CFA will keep its own database about stubs and wont be too happy if you change some behind its back.
