INACTIVE checkpoing

Hi All,

Our datamover panic'ed and the failover didn't work out well, so the problem I am having right now is ALL checkpoints of some file systems are in "INACTIVE" state. New checkpoint has been failing. Is there a way to resurrect these checkpoint? Can we make it active again? schedules for this file system are still active. Do I need to remove all these INACTIVE file system and recreate the schedule again? NAS code is 5.5.32-4. DMX 3 is backend storage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
HT

delete the inactive checkpoints, there is no way to get them back to active.
maybe the need to be unmounted first.

this is really one of these cases where you want to open a service request

Since 5.5.32 is from January 2007 they will most probably recommend to upgrade to a newer version

I dont think you need to recreate the schedule, but the inactive checkpoints are not usable.
    You can just delete them
