NTFS Permissions Failed

HI ,

I am traying to put permissions on some folders and files on my server but they are not replicated and in some way they ' damage' the folder and then i can't put them again and tells me that i do not have permissions to put them when minutes ago it let me put them.

Do anybody has fece this error before...?

We have a Celerra NS120 , version 6.0.41-3, we are using it as our actual storage , but we need to assign permissions in some folders, for example into the Finance Folder only can access the personnel who belongs to Finance security group on Active Directory, on Credit Folder is the same (only Credit Security group can access). But when i try to put the permissions on any folder they are not heritage and what is worst it show me a screen advising me that i do not have privileges to assign permission on the folders, when i always have had the privileges to do it, and the files into this folders got unusable because once i do this, permissions on files and folder disapeared.

you manage permissions on Celerra just like you do on a regular windows file server.

sounds like you may not have sufficient privileges to make any ACL changes. Do you have full rights ?
