Performance tuning NDMP backups

I'm trying to tune the performance of my NDMP backups. I'm using the decision tree on p.49 of "Configuring NDMP Backups on Celerra 5.6". Towards the bottom of the tree it recommends setting the nPrefetch parameter to 32. When I atttempt to change this parameter, it tells me 32 is "not in range". Any idea what's going on?

    As listed in the output of server_param, the range of nPrefetch is 1 up to 8.
    This param is per default already at its maximum of 8.

    It can not be increased over the max of 8.

    I think you found a documentation bug.

    I have asked for a change in the documentation

    server_param server_2 -facility PAX -info nPrefetch

    server_2 :
    name = nPrefetch
    facility_name = PAX
    default_value = 8
    current_value = 8
    configured_value = 8
    user_action = none
    change_effective = immediate
    range = (1,8)
    description = Number of tape records prefetched per worker thread

    OK thanks. I checked the 5.5 documentation and found the following:

    name = nPrefetch
    facility_name = PAX
    default_value = 8
    current_value = 8
    configured_value =
    user_action = none
    change_effective = immediate
    range = (1,32)
    description = Number of tape records prefetched per worker thread

    Apparently the maximum changed from 32 to 8 in version 5.6.
