CX300 Flare Code Upgrade through single SP ?
San Admins,
Greetings!
We are in the middle of doing a FLARE code upgrade on a cx300 using just SPA while the SPB is faulty. We tried using the NST (Navisphere Service Taskbar) to deploy the code but during the pre-checks, it says "communication with SPB is lost" - cannot proceed further.
Do we really need both the SPs to be ACTIVE and functioning fine to proceed with the code upgrade ? We also tried to use the direct software deployment using NST without going through the pre-checks, but still the software load threw the same error.
Your kind suggestions please.

As far as I remember, it will first upgrade SPB & as Roger said that it first goes for health check.

Yes, before the upgrade, NST will verify if all the components are Ok.
