EMC Navisphere Host Agent/CLI and Utilities version 6.19.3

Hi,

We have a CX500. I'm looking to download "EMC Navisphere Host Agent/CLI and Utilities version 6.19.3". But I can't find this specific software in the download section in powerlink.

The install guide I'm looking at says I should be looking for "CX Series Server Support Products", but I can't find that either.

Can someone direct me to it?

Thanks.

    Take this route:
Home > Support > Downloads and Patches

From there search under C for CLARiiON Navisphere Host Based Agent/CLI

    Hmm, I don't see it.

    Under C, I only see:

"CLARiiON Utility Kit for Linux Systems with PowerPath Software Downloads"

I wonder if my account doesn't have privileges to see it.

From the Downloads and Patches page:

"Software downloads for products with online licensing are available to all Powerlink users. Access to other products is available only to customers who have registered their software and have valid maintenance contracts with EMC. Be sure to register your sites to obtain access to your products. "

Are all your products or sites registered? ?:|

EKellerman is correct, the sites needs to be registered first.

Also to inform you that, once the sites are sent for registration, it takes 48 hours for processing.

So, if its urgent, you have to get your sites registered under the EMC's powerlink website.

Incase you have any software registration queries, the concerned mail id is esds@emc.com.

    Hope this helps you.

would he be able to get the document via mail if he calls up tech support directly while the registration is in progress?

    Hi,

    Thanks, I have gone to:

Home > Support > Product Registration and License Keys > Register your Software Sites

I submitted my site id. Now I wait 48 hours.

I'll let you know what happens....

You're kind to ask. Unfortunately, still no luck.

Frankly, we are appalled and dissatisfied with the response and customer service from EMC. We have sent multiple emails to esds@emc.com and some phone calls. Like talking to a wall.

They can't even tell us who our EMC Account Manager is. I don't know who we have to talk to get some help. It makes me furious just thinking about it.

Yesterday, at our wits end, we phoned the man who has come onsite in the past to upgrade the FLARE OE on the CX500. Thank goodness, he sent us the software.

So we're rolling again. Three days behind schedule, but nonetheless, we're moving forward.

Hey it's now 2009 and the support for CX500s is still no better, I think I'll junk them and get a HP box instead!

Amazing...... I always found the support very good. People are friendly, they get back to you in a timely manner and your questions will be answered.

I guess you had bad luck with your reseller or something ? If there was anything I could do to make you feel better about EMC I would do it. I sure would like to get my hands on a CX500. Those were quite good machines :)
