CX3-20f array, 14 discs the size of 133GB, I create RAID 1/0 (7+7), when you create a LUN available to me 704GB, Why so few? there must be approximately 931.
The size you calculated (931 GB) is the right one for an enclosure, except for the 0_0.
This because the vault.
Having only 14 HDD in the array (maybe 15 for the HS set up on 0_0_14) with 1 RG 1/0 (7+7) created you will use only Enclosure 0 on Bus0, meaning you will use the vault disks.
Now, the vault on a CX3 series is roughly 32GB, meaning that this 32GB you can not use it on all the disks part of the RG that contains the vault drives.
In your situation: 32x7=224 GB
So, 935-224 = approx 700GB usable capacity.
Note: Keep in mind also that CLARiiON has the sector size 520 ( 512+8 for administrative housekeeping), so from there is the difference you got.
just like decar said, you are using vault drives, that's why your capacity is 704.76GB. Here is a screen shot for you from CapacityCalc, notice the difference when using vault drives
Now, what I see is not very clear for you is that this size will be the same on CX4 arrays as well as on CX3 arrays, except for 0_0, that is where the vault disks resides.
On CX4 arrays the size for the vault is doubled (approx. 64 GB) the size for CX3 vault.
You can try using the EMC Capacity Calculator ( download from Powerlink) and will find out for sure the differences.
