Has anyone used SAN Copy with a Nexsan SATAbeast array as the target device?

My customer wants to back up a CX4-480 to a SATAbeast array before they physically relocate the CX4.

Neither the Nexsan interoperability guide or EMC eLab Interoperability Navigator shows the combination as being supported, so I'll let the customer know that.  But, I'm curious if anyone has done this before.  If you have, please let me know if it worked ok.
