Brocade 5000 & CWDM
Hello,
Does anybody have knowledge about CWDM with brocade switches?
I'm currently facing a problem at one customer who want's to interconnect two premises with CWDM technology using CWDM SFPs.
I could not get further information from the internet regarding compatibility and implementation.

- I expect the 5000 to be no different from the 4100. The 4100 on DWDM should be no different then on CWDM, only with other SFP's.
This afternoon I will configure four 4100's (2 times 2) together over 4 DWDM links each; just a matter of setting the long distance setting under "extended fabric".

Okay, a simple call has answered my question.
CWDM SFPs are supported by the 5000 series.
