Is anyone else running into tons of issues with the Dell Thunderbolt docks and DDPE?
We're finding that if we use the latest AsMedia drivers DDPE will function, but the docks become completely unstable (i.e. extreme keyboard lag [pauses and multiple characters per keystroke], mouse drop outs, display flicker). If we roll the AsMedia drivers back to the to what ships in the OEM image the dock works, but DDPE stops functioning properly.
Seems like one group at Dell isn't talking to the other and we're stuck in the middle.
We have seen some historical issues in the past with the Dell Encryption products and the TB16 dock. With Dell Encryption 8.16.0 and later, along with the latest ASMedia driver for the TB16 (as of this post, 1.16.55.1), and the latest Firmware for the TB16 (1.0.0.2 as of this posting), we have no longer seen additional issues.
yes nothing but problems in general with tb16 docks. black screen flickering, keyboard multi presses, usb devices not recognized. sometimes unplugging dock and putting back in helps, sometimes need restart, sometimes uninstall all drivers and reinstall. no real solution.
I've had tons of problems with TB16 (crash/freeze/unable to start/suspend-hibernate-resume problems). Not related to Dell Data Security at all -- DDS hadn't even been installed. So gave up and switched back to WD15 only.

Hi TBonez123,
We have seen some historical issues in the past with the Dell Encryption products and the TB16 dock. With Dell Encryption 8.16.0 and later, along with the latest ASMedia driver for the TB16 (as of this post, 1.16.55.1), and the latest Firmware for the TB16 (1.0.0.2 as of this posting), we have no longer seen additional issues.
Here are links for the latest versions
