I recently bought a Dell Inspiron 3891 with Windows 10.  A popup window suggested installing Dell Mobile Connect, which I did. It worked well and as expected at first, but now, every time I turn the computer on, the Mobile Connect dashboard shows "Connecting, please wait."  I have an iPhone 8, but I doubt that that is relevant to the problem. One will be "waiting" forever before this software connects PC and phone.

Why suggest installing software that doesn't work properly?
