Firmware baseline issues

There are a few threads relating to Firmware Baseline. I am experience issues with systems reporting in fine (all server - Firmware baseline), but after remediation I am unable to see firmware status and systems just seen to drop off reporting for no reason.

As a test I took a group of systems that originally reported in. 3 had updates via OME applied and one was left as a control.

Created a custom query group and populated with the 4 systems

Created a custom firmware baseline and assigned to query group

Success I can see 3 systems in compliance and one not.

Applied the last set of updates to the control system via OME - success

All systems reporting in as compliant.

Why does this give mixed results if applied at top level?

    Hi,

I hope i understood the problem correctly. Please correct me if this understanding is wrong. What you are saying is if you don't create a group and perform firmware update on individual servers from default server group, then the firmware compliance report is not showing the correct report for the devices after performing update. Is that right?

Could you please check if the post update inventory task has triggered correctly in this case?
