We don't officially support Brocade in OME. But I noticed if you go to Manage | Alerts | Catagories. You can look at the defined alerts and there seem to be a bunch of them for Brocade.
If this is the case, you may find that you get h/w alerts for your Brocade switches.
However, they won't show up on the device tree with inventory, etc. But you should be able to set up an email alert rule.
There is also a MIB import tool coming out in the first half of the year that will allow you to add support for 3rd party hardware alerts.
But give it a try with OME today and see how the alerts work out.
