OME on Windows Server 2012

Hello,

we recently upgraded our management server to Windows Server 2012 and had to uninstall OME 1.1.1 because it wasn't compatible. A new installation fails, because it says Windows Server 2012 isn't a supported OS.

Is there some kind of workaround or do I have to wait for OME 1.2? Are there any announcements yet to when Windows Server 2012 will be supported?

    Hi Hans and thanks for the post.

    You are correct.  The next release of OME 1.2 will be out later this year.  A date has not been officially announced yet.  It will support installing on Windows 2012.  There is no workaround to force an install but some folks will run it in an R2 VM if that helps at all.

    Rob,  I realized a date has not been announced, but is there an idea of when?  Q2, Q3, Q4 ?  I am having a lot of issues with my current install of OME, and was hoping to install OME on a new 2012 server...

    Is there any up to date information on when the next release that supports Server 2012 will be availiable?
