DR Replication sizing
hi all,
need some help with sizing a DR target SAN for replication.
Basically we have a Group of 3-arrays on the main site (2x PS4110 + PS6210X) with around 29Tb of available space. We forecast using max. of 25Tb of that space (4x volumes in total).
On the DR site we want to place an array(s) to replicate the source site. Basically we want/need to keep only 1x replica for each volume.
How can I calculate the requirements for this replication?
I cannot find any document describing how to do it.
Assistance is much appreciated

Hi Don
Thank you for your reply.
Few questions regarding your reply:
Local reserve for snapshots: Are the snapshots of the whole volume each time or only the block changes, i.e., smaller?
WAN links: We are replicating everything on the same LAN/site at the moment than we will ship the DR SAN to the DR site. We forecast small changes at source so understand that the WAN variable should in theory not cause much headache in terms of sizing.
Next major firmware release: Does it mean that a volume will be able to borrow from another volume's replication reserve? At the moment our vols can borrow from free pool space.
Our main issue at the moment is the delegated space which has been fully consumed.
If we envisage using 25TB on main site, does it mean that we need at least 105%, i.e., 26.25TB on DR SAN without even considering WAN implications???
Assistance is much appreciated.
