what I am try to replace the failed disks with local purchase Disks which is not licensed for Equal logic storage array.

I am doing this  in believing it will solve the issues which the company  urgency for the availability of  the system.

I am just got failed EQL ps6000 and try to access Storage array through console and run the command su exec raidtool and get the message storage array in still initializing state.This happen for about three days.

This is the challenge and the company service is stopped on this days.

For our legacy EQLs we bought spares from normal 3rd. party sources like ebay and so on. You only have to be sure to buy "Dell EqualLogic Enterprise" labeld disk with the same specs as yours.  More than 200k arrays are sold since Dell bought EQL in 2007/2008 so there a spares available.

I havent read your post from the beginning so iam not sure if your Intention is to rescue the data on that array or just bring it back to life and start from scratch.

sorry for  late reply.the EQL has no warranty but i am try to create a support case but it is not allows  techdirect sites.but i found local expert erases the data he  bring back the machine  live but i didn't get a way to recover the data.
