Powervault 124

I am trying to track down a power supply for a powervault 124t. It is a Enhance Electronics ENP-2316b. According to Enhance Electronics, dell should have one.

Thanks,

Can you click on my name and then send me a message with your service tag # and then I can make sure I give you the right part number.

Ours died too. Same autoloader model.

Called our Dell rep, after a lot of bouncing around and research they told me they do not sell a replacement power supply.
They will only sell magazines for that unit..
Was given the recommendation of buying a new autoloader (HA!)

I ended up replacing it with a "FSP Group FSP180-50PLA 20Pin 180W Single Server Power Supply "
Specs are very close but It doesn't have a power switch hookup and I had to extend one of the molex connectors.
    It works just fine.

Just an "off the shelf" 1u power supply.

Thanks to posts like Crosenboom, I felt compelled to come back and post this. A replacement power supply for ENP-2316B was about $600 at one supplier. After some research, I found other power supplies with the same dimensions and just a little more wattage. Models like the ENP-2322B-G and the ENP-2322C. I purchased the ENP-2322B-G and it works great! It did not have a the power switch hookup but it is not needed. Might as well unplug insted of using a switch, after all, isn't it safer to unplug? The power supply cable connector was just long enough to reach the switcher if you run it under the tape drive. There are only 4 screws that hold the tape drive. Just note the location before you lift it up as there are other slots that can confuse someone if they do not pay attention. Lift up the drive, connect the power supply and replace the drive where it goes and reassemble the chassis. Works like a charm.
