The Beta Deploy features present in legacy releases are on the roadmap for the Image Assist (X) architecture. As we move forward with that development during 2021, I welcome feedback @ Jesse_Leftwich@dell.com.

The cumulative feedback from our customers is used to prioritize capabilities and direction of tomorrow's Image Assist.  

That feature was a big one for us as putting a network path and credentials for one system is no big deal of course, multiplying that by a lab worth of systems or three and no matter how much timesaving your tool provides you can catch yourself praying for a stray meteor.

@Jesse_Leftwich - I would like to add my name to the list of people who very much miss this feature. I, too, prefer to keep my images on a network drive and just have the bootable USB stick be able to connect to that drive in order to get its images. This makes it much easier to operate in an environment with multiple locations. The images are kept on a file server and replicated to each location where it's needed. Each location then has a USB stick that points to their local repository. I only need to update the image and put it out there for it to be available to everyone that needs it.

Please add my name, we are missing this feature a lot. Imaging 1 PC is fine, but when you do 40-60 it is very annoying mapping the file share every time.

Unfortunately it looks like this feature didn't make the cut in the June 2021 update :(.

Above are release notes for the DIA 10.0.4 (july) release. A few of the highlighted new components are: an updater capability, wim splitter module, and support for newer platforms. 

Our fall release is currently in engineering and scheduled to support Windows 11, profile copier improvements, and likely include the USB key replication functions.
