There seems to eb a problem with my charging port which means that my laptop won't charge. Can this be fixed or replaced?

On most system, yes -- though it's also possible the issue is with the DC jack from the adapter.
You'll need to supply the system model number (i.e., Inspiron 3521, N5110, etc.) for a definitive answer.
