Dell g3 3579 touchpad scroll and position issue

I'm having an issue with my touchpad. Every single time during using the notebook once the touchpad starts not functioning properly. Usually I can scroll with 2 fingers close to each other but randomly it starts not working so that by scrolling with 2 finger close to each other no longer works, just if I make a bit larger space between them. I have to restart the windows in order to make it work again. I have installed the newest driver, I have removed it then reinstalled it, nothing seems to work.

    There was an issue with Misalignment of touchpad with this model

    Does your touchpad feel lifted up a bit ??

    There are no Drivers for Touchpad as it uses Microsoft's Precision Drivers. There is no firmware available either, so troubleshooting pretty much ends at updating BIOS.

    I think the touchpad is at a correct position , I don't think it's lifted up in any way. I couldn't find any newer version of bios either.

    Sorry. It's g3 3590 , not 3579.

    @MainWine

    Backup data > RESET OS from > F12 > SupportAssist OS Recovery > RESET > RESET and update.

    If this step doesn't fix the issue, contact Dell for Touchpad replacement
