Error 0122

I ran a diagnostics and it returned an error; 2000-01222. I looked it up but I don't really understand the steps to fix the error.

It's only 5 months old, and I would really appreciate some help 😊 I have an inspiron 15 3567 And that's the error I get upon diagnostic checking upon reboot

Thank you for your message. This error indicates that the memory errors are detected & could be caused by faulty memory or connectors on the motherboard.

Restart the computer check if the correct memory is detected in BIOS & check the version of BIOS installed.

Please disconnect the power cord, remove the battery press & hold down the power button for 30 seconds, this will remove the static.

Follow this manual (page 41) to reseat the memory & check if the issue persists. Try one memory at a time on both slots.

After reseating the memory, run diagnostics again & check if the issue persists.

What is a Dell Service Tag and how do I locate it?
