I need to charge my laptop with external battery to fly my drones, please help me, i have a 6s battery, if i can i would like to use, if i can't what can i do charge externaly
@odilonscaramuzza No, there is no adapter you could use to connect that product you linked to your laptop. And even if you could make the connection, it wouldn't be recognized as a Dell power source, which means the system would reduce its power draw as much as possible as a safety precaution, which would lead to low performance.
The Inspiron 7577 you have is designed to use either a 130W or 180W power source, depending on the CPU and GPU configuration your system has. And it doesn't support charging via USB-C either, so you'd have to use the system's barrel-style charging connector. The only Dell portable power banks that plug into the barrel connector can only supply 65W of power. I don't know of any external battery packs that can provide anywhere close to 130W of power. So with that system, your only option would probably be a portable power station that has an AC/DC inverter, which would allow you to plug your system's actual wall charger into the power power bank and then connect it to your laptop as well. Some of those might support providing that much power, but those are large, heavy, and expensive, plus you'd have to bring your laptop's wall charger too.
The real solution would be to get a different laptop that supports charging via USB-C and can run properly on 65W or less. There are multiple power banks that can provide 65W over USB-C, and some of them are small enough to fit in your pocket because you wouldn't need an AC/DC inverter anymore. But that of course requires a different laptop model.

@odilonscaramuzza I've never used a car battery to run a laptop before, but if you can find an AC/DC inverter designed to be paired with a 12V car battery and give you a regular AC outlet that your wall charger would use, I guess that would be fine. You wouldn't need 1000W output capacity if your power adapter is only 130-180W, but I guess it wouldn't hurt. But if you'll have your actual car nearby, one other option would be Dell laptop car charger that's designed to plug into a 12V power outlet found in cars, like this one. That's only a 90W charger, and I don't think Dell makes anything higher wattage because trying to pull more power might blow fuses in some cars, but if you don't need max laptop performance while you're out using your drone, 90W might be fine, especially if your system came with a 130W power adapter instead of a 180W. And it would certainly be less expensive, so again if you'll have your car nearby, you might want to try that solution and just return it if it doesn't work before looking into a more complicated and expensive inverter solution.
Mate really appreciate you answer, my car doesn't have 12v outlet, but you gave me a really good alternative, plug the battery directly to the 90w adapter, my concern is the back end of the cable past the the 12v adapter, would i have to do a adaptation with car battery cable like this one below? like this one
@odilonscaramuzza What kind of car doesn’t have a 12V power outlet??? That has been the standard for decades because they were previously used for cigarette lighters and sometimes still are. I have never seen a car that doesn’t have AT LEAST one power outlet, often 2-3, even smaller cars these days. I’d check your car’s manual. And that’s what you’d typically use for an inverter anyway.
Connecting directly to a car battery is a terrible idea at least without an in-line fuse. Ask anybody professional car audio installer since high powered amplifiers are connected directly to the battery, and having a fuse is Rule #1.
DC isn’t the issue because the laptop uses DC anyway. The “brick” portion of a wall charger is what converts the AC from your household wall outlets over to DC. The reason the 12V car charger has something too is because the laptop is designed for 19.5V, not 12V.
As I said, Dell’s only power banks can only supply 65W output. It’s not a question of energy capacity, but rather output rate. I have never seen a power bank with anything close to 180W. How long the power bank would last would of course depend on what you’re doing with your system, just like the battery life for its internal battery. But again, power banks don’t have 180W output today or anything close.
If the 90W car adapter plugged into your actual car’s 12V outlet won’t work for you, then I’d consider getting a different laptop that supports USB-C charging and 65W or less for power to meet your needs here.

If you're looking to charge a battery externally, you'll need a separate power bank or charger. It's not clear what a 6s battery is -- iPhone 6s?
