I have an Inspiron 5570. According to the PC Health Check I need the TMP and Secure Boot to upgrade to Windows11. I have the Legacy Bios and am unable to change it to UEFI. In one of the community responses I need the PLL. but was not shown how to access it. Please help

    Thanks

    Mike

While it is possible to convert an MBR disc to GPT and then enable UEFI, and therefore allow PTT/TPM to function, the first step is making a complete backup AND recovery media for your system - and TEST the recovery media and verify the backup.

The other alternative is to completely reinstall Windows anew, starting with Windows 11.  You'll need the installation media and will need to repartition the drive.  Turn OFF legacy mode, and boot the system from the Windows 11 install media, setting up in GPT mode.

You can enable PTT in setup once you're ready to do whatever you choose to do with the system.
