Can anyone think of a reason that one application would receive ERROR_WRITE_PROTECT when trying to create a file or folder via CreateFile start at the root of a share?  I've tested Windows Explorer and CMD (using a copy) and even FileTest to directly simulate the appliation, but they all work.  We've operated against Isilon dozens of times, so this is perplexing.

We're effectively doing a CreateFile with the CREATE_ALWAYS disposition, GENERIC_WRITE access, no share flags, no flagsAndAttributes, and no security attributes either. Fairly simple.
